Senator George LeMieux' First Day On The Job.
Submitted by rcovington on Sat, 09/12/2009 - 00:36Senator George LeMieux, hand picked by Charlie Crist to assume the seat left vacated by the retirement of Senator Mel Martinez, was sworn in this past Thursday. In an interview with the AP, LeMieux expressed support for Barack Obama's government run health care scheme to sell insurance through exchanges. The AP reported it thusly:

For many years now we have stood by and watched as elitists, from both parties have driven us over the fiscal cliff and eroded our liberties drip by tortuous drip. We are in a fight to the death.
