being purveyed throughout the new media. Much as I do during my everyday routine
I went about the tasks needed to be accomplished. As the levity of the day began
to hit me I heard the call for a moment of silence over the airwaves.
Senator George LeMieux' First Day On The Job.

In an interview with the AP, LeMieux expressed support for Barack Obama's government run health care scheme to sell insurance through exchanges. The AP reported it thusly:
