Harry Reid's Budget Busting Version Of Obamacare

The quick march to shove Obamacare down the American public's throat has begun in earnest.  The Baucus biil, passed out of the Finance Committee is now undergoing a rewrite n the office of Sen. Harry Reid, Senate Majority Leader (Dem Liar, NV).  The Senate and House have moved to preserve the ability to pass this bill with only 51 votes through Reconciliation, previously reserved only for Budget bills.

The Democrats are looking for the mechanism to enact the "public option"  that will implement full blown government run health care.  Once they have the formula they think will minimize their losses in November 2010 they will include that in the bill.  They are also in the process of crafting massive payoffs to Senators they need to pass the bill on the Democrat and Republican sides of the Senate.  They do not really care one way or the other, they will pass the bill regardless and use Reconciliation if necessary, but they are trying to put enough honey in the pot to attract the usual Rino's to the fold to offer cover for "moderate" Democrats to vote against the bill in hopes their constituents will be fooled in November 2010.
