HR 3200 Obamacare In Critical Condition, Euthanasia, In This Case, Is The Best Course

Day by Day the water torture for Barack Obama continues.  Each passing day brings a degradation in the polls, more insurrection among Democrat moderates and a growing unease with everyone that the rush to pass this bill is a big mistake. With more and more voters finding out the ugly truths of abortion on demand, the unmistakable exposure of the lie that you will be allowed to keep your current plan and Doctor, (Page 16) voters are saying enough!

Guided by a thugocracy composed of Nancy Pelois, Henry Waxman and their minions and millions of leftists staff and identity constituencies, the monstrosity that has emerged includes elements of Eugenics (Sec. 1233) , racial preferences, taxpayer funded abortion on demand and copious amounts of Socialist income re-distribution as well. The bill is as poisonous as cyanide.

We have them on the run, but as with the miracles of medicine, resurrection of the bill is possible and even the stripping of some of the more objectionable provisions may make it passable when in fact the entire foundational philosophy is so disturbing, only a fresh start makes sense for America.

Barack Obama is now trying to reframe the bill by shifting the language to "Health Insurance Reform" instead of "Health Care Reform".  I agree we need some changes.  The kind of change that both sides could agree on in a bill of say 250 pages instead of 1018. If both side were allowed to participate.  Pelosi is determined to shut out any dissenting voices, even those with a D next to their name. Remember, the nation fought a war of Independence and was founded because we were governed without representation.  If 48% of the Congress is shut out from crafting the bill, 48% of the citizens are shut out.  How can the legislation possibly be in the best interest of the nation as a result?

Today, Henry Waxman threatened to bypass the Energy and Commerce Committee and bring the bill to to the floor for a vote, bypassing the resolute Blue Dog Democrats.  This only steeled their resolve.  This was also their strategy in pursuing Cap & Tax.  Many Representatives that voted for Cap & Tax went home over the holiday to mean, ugly, angry crowds focused not just on Cap & Tax, but Obamacare as well.  See this:

It also begs the question - what is making them so desperate.  The answer may lie in the Quarterly Budget report due out this week and "delayed" until mid August.   The rumor is that the sea of red in that report will be far larger that expected at this point.  Once this information gets out, moderates in the Senate and the House will run for the hills.

Keep up the pressure.  Join protest rallies at your Representatives offices in the district during August.  Attend town hall meetings and let them know WHO they work for and what YOU want.  Keep calling.  FAX the Blue Dog Democrats repeatedly.  You can download an importable file with the FAX and phone numbers of the Blue Dogs.   Fax your Senators on this.  An importable file with Senate FAX numbers is attached below.

Do not let this opportunity slip away.  We can pull the plug on Obamacare.  If we do Cap & Tax will likely die as well.

Dear Representative,

HR 3200 is wrong for America.  It is clear that the bill will force everyone into a Government Designed and run Health Care Plan (page 16) and the option for employers to pay 8% and drop current coverage is designed to make the economics of Employers providing care unattractive.  This will destroy my private health care plan and force me into a plan I do not want.  A plan that you, The Congress will not pledge to enroll in yourselves.

The tax and penalty provisions are equally wrong and have no basis in the Constitution. The racial preferences and the taxpayer funded abortion on demand are all wrong for America and make this an oppressive intrusion into my rights. 

We are watching you closely on this.  I am sure you are hearing from many like me. I VOTE.  Remember that.  Your leadership will not re-elect you.
